About Me

Amber Charlize Kurz (B. 2004, Salmon Arm, B.C.) is an illustrator and sculptor based on the unceded territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh, and səlilwətaɬ nations.

Currently, she is attending Emily Carr University of Art + Design for a BFA in Illustration.

Working in drawing and painting mediums, Amber creates illustrations which understand how she sees beauty in the natural world. Her art seeks to represent the life forms called ‘animals’ who we survive with.
